
Manuel Carrasco Valderrama, Founding Member of the Alianza Peruana de Sommeliers – ALIPS.
Manuel has a degree in Oenology and Fruit and Vegetable Industries from the Universidad Católica de Cuyo, Facultad Don Bosco de Mendoza, Argentina, Master in Education with a Mention in Informatics and Educational Technology, Sommelier and Commercial Consultant in Wines graduated from the Instituto del Vino y el Pisco (IDVIP).
He participated as a professor of oenology and viticulture in prestigious institutes in Peru and Argentina such as the Escuela Peruana de Sommeliers (EPS), the Instituto del Vino y el Pisco (IDVIP), the Escuela de Gastronomía Islas Malvinas de Mendoza, and the Instituto de Formación Profesional Don Bosco.
He is currently holds the position of Specialist in design and development of products in the Food Area of the Center for Innovation and Technology Transfer – Huaura Technical Unit, Technological Institute of Production.
In addition, he is a Founding Partner and Production Manager of the beverage and beverage derivatives company La Mala S.A.C. in the production of cider and sparkling wines, with which he obtained the Gold Medal in the Sweet Category in the prestigious contest of the “XI Salón Internacional de Les Sidres de Gala” (2021 – Xixón, Asturias, Spain).
