María Florencia Rey, Vice President and Founding Member of the Alianza Peruana de Sommeliers – ALIPS.

María Florencia is an Argentine sommelière who graduated from the Escuela Argentina de Sommeliers (Argentine School of Sommeliers) in 2010. She has also passed level 1 of the Court of Master Sommeliers.

Administration and management of restaurant bars, awarded by C.A.V.E Argentina.

Studies on Protocol and Ceremony at Cent Nº22, an educational establishment endorsed by the Government of the City of Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Currently living in Peru and where she has worked as a sommelière since 2011.

Flor has worked for fourteen years in service in the culinary industry focusing on wine service.

Currently she works as Head Sommelier at Maido, where she has managed the wine program for seven years.

Flor has also taught wine classes at Fundación Pachacutec and Wine Cellar Administration and Management at the Escuela Peruana de Sommeliers.
